From November 1st to 4th, there will be a light-up walk featuring the enchanting nighttime scenery of temples and shrines.
This year’s lighting theme is “Dragon”!

What is Hakata Old Town?
Hakata Old Town flourished as the center of Japan’s largest medieval trading port city, and it preserves many historical, traditional, and cultural elements dating back to the Middle Ages.
This area allows visitors to deepen their experience of Fukuoka through serene streets lined with historic temples and shrines, lively shopping districts, encounters with the traditional crafts and performing arts of Hakata, and the vibrant culture of Hakata's residents, known for their love of festivals.
